Stephanie Bewley (BKin, Acadia University; MSc, University of Birmingham) is a Registered Physiotherapist in both Canada and the UK and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In the UK, Steph was the student therapist trainer for University of Birmingham’s men’s volleyball and soccer teams and played libero on the women’s volleyball team, which brought home the gold in her first year. Steph has worked with athletes from the OCAA, USports, and the CEBL, and she is currently working with the men’s basketball team at Georgian College. Steph truly believes that everything first starts with educating her patients so that they become more knowledgeable about their injury or condition. Secondly, she emphasizes the importance of exercise as medicine! As a strength and conditioning coach, Steph is adamant about designing a specific and individualized program for each and every single one of her patients. Jennifer is a Registered Massage Therapist, having recently graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University with a concentration in Athletic Performance and Injury Management. Jennifer was a member of Laurier’s Women’s Varsity soccer team and the flag football team during her undergraduate degree. She has experience working with a wide range of athletes across USports, OCAA, and professional levels.

As a former varsity soccer player, Jennifer’s personal experience with injury rehabilitation ignited her passion for helping people of all ages overcome injuries and enhance their overall wellness. Her treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques and personalized care. She offers treatment that may include myofascial and Swedish techniques, dynamic release, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching (PNF). Ashley Dimen is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from York University with a Bachelors of Arts with Honours in Kinesiology (BA) and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. Ashley is currently attending the Advanced Standing Massage Therapy Program at Ontario College of Health and Technology.

Ashley has had the privilege of working with athletes from USports, provincial, and national level, and she is currently working with U16 AAA Markham Majors Hockey Team. Ashley integrates a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and patient education in her treatments to address the patient’s main cause, while addressing their symptoms.

Stephane is a graduate from York University’s Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy programs. Stephane has experience treating a wide variety of athletic injuries, using manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitative exercises. He is also a Certified First Responder with experience working in emergency care situations. Stephane has had the privilege of working as an Athletic Therapist for the York University Men’s Basketball team and Canadian Elite Basketball League, Guelph Nighthawks. Stephane uses a combination of evidence-based approach and education with his treatments to help you reach your goals. Athletic Therapists do not only treat athletes! Whether you are a recreational athlete or competitive athlete, helping you get back on to the playing field or back to your active lifestyle is the greatest reward an Athletic Therapist can strive for.

Brock Palma (Bkin, DOMP) is a licensed Osteopathic Manual Practitioner here at Synergy Athletic Performance Clinic. From an early age, Brock has been involved with many competitive sports such as basketball, volleyball, rugby and track and field. His passion for sports, health and the human body led him to study Kinesiology at the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelors of Kinesiology. During his years in University, Brock received an internship as a Student Therapist with the University of Toronto Men’s Basketball Team and continued as their therapist for 3 consecutive years. This is where his love for manual therapy and ability to help people achieve optimal health and performance began. After his time at University of Toronto, Brock continued his post secondary education at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. He then completed his thesis, titled “The Effects of Osteopathic Treatment on Center of Pressure and Sway”. Brock now holds the title of an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. From his time working with countless athletes and patients, Brock has the confidence and knowledge to treat individuals with all types of musculoskeletal injuries and systematic problems. Aside from his treatment goals as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Brock continues to challenge himself with 1-2 personal physical goals per year. His current goal is to complete a sub 2 hour half marathon in hopes to eventually accomplish a full marathon. Antonia Tindale is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C. Ped (C)) and has been working in this field for the past 7 years. She completed her undergraduate degree with a specialized honours in Kinesiology (BaKin) at York University and then continued her passion and completed her postgraduate degree in Pedorthics at Western University. Antonia specialize in lower limb care and biomechanics as well as gait analysis’. She personally manufactures and dispenses custom made orthotics. In addition, she works with custom and non custom orthopaedic footwear, lower limb bracing, compression socks and footwear modifications. Married for 12 years and mom to two amazing kiddos. In her spare time, her hobbies consist of playing volleyball, (I played club volleyball as a youth and now in a women’s league in Aurora), working out, especially CrossFit with her family, and going hiking.
